Soft, buttery leather on the front, and stretch nylon down the back. Approximate shaft heights: 16.5” in front, 14” in back. Shaft circumference is 14”. However, the boots are stretchy. My calves are 15” and they are comfortable for me. There are a few light marks. One on the back of one heel, and some light scuffing on the top of one, as well as an imprint from storage.
